If you have got to this page, then you are probably convinced you need to go for more in terms of your own teaching. This is, in itself, an act of courage! Congratulations.

 

Normally, the TKT would be a first certificate for teachers who have had no training or experience whatsoever. CELTA is also for those who have had no or little teaching experience, but it is more demanding and time-consuming. Delta, on the other hand, is for teachers who have had a good deal of training (and possibly gone through Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL), and wish to move beyond teaching in professional terms.
